Baby accessories: Comfort for neonates

Shopping for a new baby is a delight for his/ her parents. The wedge keeps the baby's head in an elevated position, and thus plays an important role in preventing SIDS in an infant. Wedges are filled with non-allergenic foam, and have covers made of cotton. The covers are removable and machine-washable. The wedge should be installed under fitted crib sheets to avoid accidental suffocation of the baby.

Crib tents are great for babies who have just learnt to sit up or stand on their own. Most parents are worried at this stage that the baby may crawl out of the crib and fall down when they are not looking. This can be prevented by fitting a crib tent on top of the crib. Crib tents are nylon nets fitted into a frame that can be installed on top of a crib. The mesh-knit crib tent allows the baby to see everything outside the crib, thus making sure he/ she won't feel trapped, while protecting him/ her from falling out. The tents are hand washable and dry quickly when wet, thus making these ideal accessories to have around on family trips as well.

Teething rails are perfect for teething babies. Made of non-toxic plastic, these accessories are strong enough to withstand almost all the gumming and gnawing a teething baby is able to carry out.
